The former US president welcomed the takeover of Twitter this Friday by billionaire Elon Musk.
A change of direction that makes one happy. A former follower of the bluebird, Donald Trump did not hide his joy when he learned of the takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk.
On his “Truth Social” network, the former president of the United States estimated that the platform was “now in good hands”, and that it would no longer be “run by the madmen of the radical left”.
A RETURN TO THE “POST”?
On January 8, 2021, Donald Trump’s Twitter account was banned, opening a debate on freedom of expression. As a reminder, the billionaire with 88 million subscribers regularly aroused controversy.
Indeed, several of his political opponents had been the subject of personal attacks. This is particularly the case of the current President of the United States Joe Biden, described as “Sleepy Joe”, in other words, “Joe l’Endormi”.
The return of Donald Trump to the social network could have the effect of a bomb. Last May, Elon Musk did not exclude this possibility. For his part, the main interested party did not announce whether he planned his “comeback” on the platform.
